Course Details

Step 1

Improve Your Communication Skills

3 90-minute Skype sessions with one other participant, chaired by course designer, Gabriel. The Skype sessions involve in-depth discussions and debate on topics such as:

● Futurism and technology

● Controversial laws

● Politics and culture

Step 2

Identify Your Main Problem Areas With English

Based on your language performance in stage one, you will receive a 16-page personalised report. The report is highly customised and covers 20 to 30 of your main language issues. The report includes:

● A chart showing you your biggest communication issues in English

● Specific examples from your performance in stage one

● An explanation of what the issue is

● Links to free online resources and quizzes to work on each issue

● Google search terms so you can research the issue further and become your own teacher

Step 3

Kickstart Your Self-Study Programme

A one-to-one session with Gabriel via Skype. The session is 45 minutes and together you will create your personalised self-study schedule on Google Calendar, discuss your report and get any final questions answered.

What’s included in the course?

  • 3 Skype discussion sessions (90-minutes per session) with Gabriel and one other participant
  • A personalised report (16 pages)
  • A 45-minute one-to-one session with Gabriel via Skype

How much time do I need?

The course takes place over two weeks. In the first week, there are three Skype sessions of 90 minutes each (at a time that suits you). The following week, we’ll meet once for 45 minutes.

What level of English do I need?

You should be at least upper-intermediate (B2). If you don’t know your level, please contact us here and we will send you an online English level test free of charge.

Can I see a sample report?

Can I do the course with a friend?

Yes, and if you book together, you’ll get a 20% discount for each person.

Can I combine discounts?

Yes, you can. If you join the waiting list before April 10, you’ll get a 40 € discount per person and
if you book with a friend, you’ll each get a further 20% discount.

Can I change the session times?

After the session times are confirmed, you will not be able to make changes.

How can I pay?

You can pay vial PayPal. It’s completely safe and you don’t need a PayPal account to pay if you have a credit card.

Is there a guarantee?

This is a short course and therefore payment is not refundable.

Gabriel holds a master’s degree in English teaching and applied linguistics, with a distinction in Course Content Creation. He has over 12 years’ experience teaching English to students from all over the world, including business clients from major corporations such as as Novartis, Mercedes and ING Bank.

 

Lisa holds a Cambridge English teaching certificate and is a Cambridge English examiner. She has been working in education since 2011, specialising in English level assessment.
