What makes you a good teacher?
I feel like I'm born to teach! I like seeing my students get better and more confident with their English, and I find it really rewarding. I'm very sociable, so I also enjoy meeting lots of different types of people and really enjoy the conversations we have.

The best part is talking to people from different cultures, who often make me think differently about the world.

Tell me a bit more about yourself.
I love music. I play a few different instruments, and I'm always writing music, playing in bands and doing concerts.

I'm from Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

What are your qualifications?
For teaching qualifications, I have both my TEFL certification and DELTA. In university, I studied art history, anthropology and English. I will be starting my Master's in Linguistics in the near future.

What’s your background?
I have lived around the world and worn many hats, working as a corporate trainer, a marketing specialist, an assistant producer at a film company, and even as a zoo keeper.

These experiences, along with my 8 years' teaching, give me a well-rounded background from which to help learners with various different objectives.

Where do you live now?
I've just moved from Istanbul to Barcelona.

What makes you a good teacher?
I am an effective teacher not only because of my knowledge and experience in and out of the field, but because I easily connect with my students and truly understand their aims.

Whether they are to achieve a particular score on a proficiency test, complete a presentation, improve negotiation skills or just improve their level of general English, my students' success in reaching their goals is my own success and is what drives me.

Tell me a bit more about yourself.
I love to travel, experiencing new cultures and facing new challenges. I try to learn to cook at least one dish from each country I visit. Currently, I'm perfecting my paella and sangria here in Spain.
